    Just checking in with my IWF progress. Week two went great. I made it to all three F.L.O.s and enjoyed my workouts. However, I didn’t achieve my goals of starting with changes to my diet or getting my body fat assessed. I simply forgot to get it done! But, I will do it ASAP so I can give a more accurate record of my progress. I will tell you that I have gained two pounds since I started IWF. I’m not thrilled with myself. I know change takes time. I also know that I will not see the change I desire until I really start changing my diet.

    During week 3, I only made it to one F.L.O. However, I knew this was going to happen due to having out-of-town company and taking my kids trick-or-treating. To make up for the two missed workouts, I took “power walks” instead. I know it isn’t the same thing, but I wanted to keep myself moving and keep my commitment to exercise going even though I couldn’t make it to the F.L.O.s. As a working mom with a full plate of responsibilities, this is just life, and I’m sure a lot of you are in the same boat. I’d like to tell you that since I couldn’t make the evening F.L.O.s, I got up early and went at 6:00 a.m. I didn’t. Since I work from home, I’m often up until midnight or 1:00 a.m. working, so the chances of me getting up at 5:30 a.m. to work out are just very slim. I just don’t want to let these limitations defeat me, though. I want to stay committed and keep pushing toward my goals. I also know I need to get more specific about what those goals are- more on that to come!

    Week Four Goals- Get body fat assessed, work on setting specific fitness goals, attend at least two F.L.O.s (yes, my in-laws are still visiting from 10 hours away!)
