Kettlebells are my favorite tool to train with. There is so much you can do and so many types of strength and conditioning that you can train. I started training with them in 2007. Learning the clean and snatch was very painful as the lowest weight I had was 30 pounds.
In the video above Improvement Warrior Fitness owner, Jason Yun, works on 1. Kettlebell Windmills with a 28 kg kettlebell 2. Medicine ball over under throws 3. Kettlebell Swings with 28 kg. Then rest and repeat.
Our program really focuses on kettlebell swings a lot because it is very simple movement that focuses on the posterior chain (butt, hamstrings, low back) but also coordinates the hips and the hip hinge as well as the rest of the body. It can be a difficult movement for a lot of people, especially if you are deskbound at your job for most of the day.
