• Why everybody needs to workout- No Excuses!

    What are you doing right now?

    Are you working out? Exercising? Doing something physical on a daily or at least 3 or more time a week?
    .
    If not—– WHY?!
    .
    In order to live an extraordinary life, you have to be extraordinary!
    .
    I equate 6 things that must a person must be constantly trying to improve upon in order to live an EXTRAORDINARY LIFE!
    .
    Those are:
    1. Physical
    2. Nutritional
    3. Mental
    4. Emotional
    5. Awareness
    6. Spiritual
    The 6 Positive Strengths I call them.
    .
    Now I don't have time to go over all 6 and how to build and create awesomeness in each. This article I'm simply going to be talking about the first one. The Physical.
    .
    Now understand this, if you workout, or whatever you want to call it—– Train, exercise, lift, get your workout on……….. whatever…….

    Understand this we are in the middle of an obesity epidemic. 66% of adults are overweight or obese. That is 2/3!

    2/3 of this freakin' country are overweight or obese. In my opinion that is unacceptable.
    .
    The majority of people who don't workout think that they have to do it in order to lose weight or maintain weight. Or they simply wait until the last minute where they have to do something otherwise something bad is going to happen (i.e overweight, diabetes, stares from others, hating the way they look in the mirror, etc…..)
    .
    But there is something else about training that most people don't look at.
    .

    It's called challenging yourself!

    What are you doing right now to challenge yourself?
    .
    The easiest way to challenge yourself is through physical activity. Get your heart rate up, get your muscles pounding– improve your body. You only get one body, if you don't use it, you lose it. As is apparent from the 2/3 of this country that is overweight and obese.
    .
    And I'm not saying that the 2/3 is overweight jsut because they don't workout, nutrition the #2 thing listed above plays an even bigger role with the obesity epdimic. But again i don't have time to cover it.
    .
    But once you start working out on a consistent basis the makority of people start to notice little changes in their body, and that increases self awareness, self confidence which automatically increases a person's drive to improve their nutrition. AGAIN, I said the majority, I know quite a few people who jsut workout and their nutriton sucks and their body looks the same year after year after year. You can never ever out exercise bad nutriton.

    If you are one of those people who go to the gym and do the same thing over and over and over again (treadmill and cardio dwellers comes to mind), but your results are the same— minimal to none. You are not challengeing yourself!
    .
    Either because you don't know how to, don't want to, or you are just being a little bitch.

    Starting a workout program is hard, but I got news for you, as you go through the levels of fitness and strength, your workout isn't going to get any easier. Your capabilites is just going to rise. Your body shape is going to change so you are able to do more. Your strength is going to rise, so your weights used and resistance used is going to rise, or you can do more in less time.
    .
    My workouts now are some of the hardest I've ever done in my life. I challenge myself daily. It gets me out of my comfort zone, doing what I know I can do. That doesn't make me a better person.
    .

    Doing the same thing over and over again makes me average. I'm always trying to increase my performance. Whether it be more weight lifted, more rounds performed, run faster, jump farther, etc……..

    .

    Don't ever settle for being the same as you were the day before.

    Life is precious and you only get one shot– at this LIFE! If you are believer in being born again or second life or any of that that is fine. Just push yourself to be awesome and extraordinary in THIS LIFE.
    .
    And don't give me I don't have time! That is the biggest bullish*t excuse there is!
    .
    You make time to go to work, watch TV, go out with your friends, watch the football game, play video games, go to school, etc………….
    .
    It's all about setting your priorities!
    .

    So if your priorities don't include working out or training then you need to fix your priorities!

    .

    You need to challenge yourself. Challenging workouts makes you mentally tougher, emotionally tougher, raises your self confidence through the roof.

    .
    You go through a workout or an Improvement Warrior Fitness F.L.O and give everything you got you feel awesome afterwards. Yes it may suck during, but like my mental coach always says ‘Embrace the Suck'! And yes it may suck the days after with soreness, but you get used to it and you look forward to it because you love the feeling, the feeling that you got challenge, that you improved!
    .
    So I ask you—
    .

    Are you challenging yourself?

    .
    For some this workout might be challenging:
    :30 of work followed by :30 of rest
    1. Squats
    2. Pushups
    3. Jumping jacks
    4. bear crawl
    5. Overhead press
    .
    For some this workout might be challenging:
    100 Burpees
    100 Kettlebell Swings
    100 Goblet Squats
    .
    But that's ok. Each one of them should be hard all the time. Always trying to get better, increasing resistance, decreasing time, increasing the amount of reps, etc……….
    .

    Take no days off to Improvement.

    Strive to be the strongest version of yourself

    .

    Right now you are the strongest version of YOU, but tomorrow you will either be weaker or stronger then the YOU right now.

    .

    It is your choice!
