• Workout- Work On You

    I always say it and I always will- everybody needs to workout– in some form or fashion.

    We all know that we need it, but excuses sometimes get in the way, and that’s just another excuse. You have your priorities in life and then you have your shoulda, woulda, coulda lists.

    Problem is for a lot of people that list is long and it has some pretty important life changing things on it that keep getting pushed back until the stars line up perfectly.

    Well those stars are not going to line up perfectly, because things will always come up– and one of the big reasons is: is because you are not working out.

    Besides the health benefits, working out is a time to work on you. It’s a time to get into a place with you and your mind and to improve yourself (pun intended 🙂

    You see you hold on this earth the opportunity to be the next Michelangelo and sculpt the next David. And that ‘David’ is YOU!

    Force yourself to get into the habit of doing the work of life. Your body is the only one you will get in this lifetime! How are you treating it?

    Like a beat up pick-up, or your most prized possession?

    Now I understand if you haven’t been working out for a while getting into is going to be hard, but you have the mindset of not working out. Your mind can be trained– use the force, Luke!

    But once you do the path becomes clearer, you gain strength and self-confidence and you start believing in yourself, then nothing is impossible.

    I always like to change up my workouts and training. For instance, this week Monday I Olympic lifts, Tuesday I did barbell squats and deadlifts, Wednesday I did Yoga, Thursday (Today) I did a suspension training workout outside on my basketball hoop, tomorrow I’m going to sprint on a track, Saturday and Sunday I’m going to do Yoga again.

    It doesn’t matter what you do, just do it.       Virtually all of the things you claim is astonishingly legitimate and that makes me wonder why I had not looked at this in this light before. Your piece really did turn the light on for me personally as far as this subject matter goes. However there is just one point I am not too cozy with so whilst I make an effort to reconcile that with the actual central idea of the position, allow me observe what all the rest of the visitors have to point out.Very well done.
