The workouts we do at Improvement Warrior Fitness and also ourÂ Youth classesÂ in Hilliard, are not simply workouts. You are always training for something. Whether it is theÂ FitRanX assessmentsÂ that we do every phase, or hitting a new PR, or reaching a new low in body fat, or dropping the inches or clothes sizesâ there is always a purpose, always a goal for training.
This week We had 16 new PRâs this week!Â New all-time record!!! Nice job, Me x 4, Rae x 2, Trace x 2, Travis, Will, Seth, Joan, Abe, Cedric, Cohen, and Isaac. Â WHoooo! Congrats to all the new PRâs thisÂ week!Â
This week, so letâs smash our previous best. Only way to change that body is to do more then we have done before (weight, reps, time, sets, rounds).Â
This coming week we have a total 17 chances to hit a new PR. The PRâs you get means the stronger and fitter you are getting. And that is the fastest way to change your body. Plus your mental strength goes through the roof- Itâs all about mindset!Â
Survival is not the best you. That is what your brain wants us to ultimately do. So if you want to change and become the best you can be then you have to go against programming.
Even if you want to change a simple habit like waking up just 15 minutesâ earlier each day. Any change is going to require you to go against programming for at least a couple months. Forget the 21 days to form a new habit…..you want the habit to be permanent…..that is how you change your life forever. ?
Because you dont know how one little change will create a domino effect on your life. And take you to a road that only some travel. Because if you constantly go where all the ‘traffic’ ??is then guess what is there— frustration, congestion, confusion, ?disease, obesity, Prescriptions, cancerâ â , alzheimers??, joint pain, osteoporosis, and the list goes on and on.
However it is super easy to get there because of all the distractions that are created for us. Which is why you must train your mind……everyday……this is even more important then training your body (but not more important then training your circadian cycle with morning sun, because that makes the brain, mind and hormones function correctly and without that going against your programming is very hard).
Listen, read, watch. And do it over and over and over and over again until it becomes a part of you. ?
There are no short cuts to life. Those who take short cuts will fail in the long run. Life is a journey not a sprint. Shine today because the world? needs you to shine ??
