The workouts we do at Improvement Warrior Fitness and also ourÂ Youth classesÂ in Hilliard, are not simply workouts. You are always training for something. Whether it is theÂ FitRanX assessmentsÂ that we do every phase, or hitting a new PR, or reaching a new low in body fat, or dropping the inches or clothes sizesâ there is always a purpose, always a goal for training.
Let’s talk about consistency again! I am 61 hours into my fast that I started on Sunday evening. Don’t forget my fasting intermittent fasting and toxins webinar will be tomorrow Thursday at 8:30 p.m.????
During this fast I am still working out I have just dropped the volume significantly. I am only maxing out on exercises. So on Monday I hit a new PR on squat at 330 and yesterday I hit one at dips at 88 pounds. Today will be Pull-Ups and Thursday will be off and Friday will be deadlift followed by a massive meal! Which will end my fast. Hopefully I can make it till then because this will be the longest fast I’ve ever attempted. 84 hours was the longest previous.
So the thing of it is staying consistent with your training regardless of what is going on in your life. Whether you are doing your own n equals 1 experiment, or life and circumstances just get thrown in your way. Because all types of things are going to be thrown at you. People, yourself are going to get sick, you’re going to lose jobs, people are going to die. These things are going to happen oh, it’s called life.
However, since you are an improvement Warrior that means you have a passion for yourself. And that means you focus on the things that drive you forward so you can help yourself and ultimately help others!
