Your measurements , essay and before pics there you can email it all to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or you can post it to the Facebook group. One of the groups is our official support group and the other is the cleanse’s official group. Both are very active groups with lots of support as well.
The measurements consist of Neck, Chest, both arms, waist, hips, both thighs, both calves. You can take other measurements as you well, the Just cleanse tracking sheet has a lot more measurements on it, but for the challenge I only want those measurements mentioned in the video. Watch this video (it was also emailed to you) on exactly where and how to take the measurements:
Start working on your before essay. It’s important to get in the right mindset and know that this is absolutely going to work for you. I am here as your cleanse coach and use the Facebook group as accountability and motivation before you start, as you are going through it, and even after.
I love food! I love food, both “good” food AND “bad” food. But now I am tired of the way I’ve been feeling after I eat it. I am tired of the bloating and gas and my clothes not fitting. Its time for a change. I have reached the highest weight that I have ever seen on the scale, and recently I think that I have been the most sedentary that I have been since I was in graduate school.
I am exited for this challenge because I really want to feel better and get the benefit from some weight loss too! Those changes will only benefit me for both my current and my future health and fitness. I know that this challenge will not be easy, the drastic change in my eating habits won’t be easy. But knowing that I will not be alone in this challenge will be comforting and the support on Facebook and with my “challengers” will be helpful, fun and hopefully a learning experience.
From this challenge I have several expectations: I expect to feel better physically – less gas, less bloating, less fatigue. I expect to sleep better – from less bloating, less gas, less caffeine, and therefor feel better physically and emotionally. I expect to exercise more and build muscle because along with a diet change this will help change my body– and as a result I expect to lose some weight and inches but gain more muscle and feel better in my clothes, and have more stamina in my daily life and activities as a mom, wife, veterinarian. I also hope that by the time this 30 day challenge ends that I will be well on my way to forming some new habits and lasting changes that will carry me forward to a healthier life for myself and to be a healthy example for my children!
Yay, Yay, Yay!!! I feel so much better! Ive been sleeping better. My pants fit better!! All around things are better! It’s a good feeling! I am down 11lbs and on my way!!
As with anything new that you start there is a learning curve, sometimes big, sometimes not so big. With this 30 Day Challenge system there was a small learning curve. It didn’t take long to get into the routine and not need to rely on my notes! I found that I really looked forward to my dinner every night! Protein and veggies tasted so good. I also enjoyed not having to think about what to pack for lunch! A shake it is!!I really enjoyed that shake blended with ice and I did try a recommendation that I found on the facebook page for the chocolate shake powder just blended with ice and a tiny bit of liquid – eat with a spoon….it really felt like a soft-serve treat! I had moments of feeling deprived but they didn’t last long, I really wasn’t hungry – It was old habits trying to die! I tried really hard to stop and listen to what my body was telling me ….was it my stomach that was truly hungry or my mouth just wanting to eat something! When it was my stomach that was hungry it was usually meal time! When it was my mouth, I tried to find something else to do to get away from the kitchen! I started running again and am on my way to a 5K – the turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning!! It’ll be a great start to the holiday that usually revolves around food!
The work is not over, the new lifestyle is not habit yet but I am on my way! This challenge was the jump start I needed! I feel successful and my body feels better!
Like I said it’s important to get into the right mindset. This is the first thing I cover in the Cleanse Manual. Mindset matters most. And knowing where you are going is a huge part of that. So set your goals for this challenge. It’s only 30-days but it is the jump-start to the new YOU. You have to become a better version of YOU for this to work. So you have to have a roadmap, and we need to instill the mindset of a Champion or an Improvement Warrior!
