‘I am just finishing my first month of  classes, and I love it… First, I am so proud that I followed through with the first phase going three times a week (never missing a class!). Over the years, I have joined numerous gyms with every intention of going and getting healthy. I would start strong, and then find every excuse there was not to go. After 4 weeks of Improvement Warrior Fitness, I feel energized, and I find myself looking forward to my workouts. My days of excuses have FINALLY ended. I would recommend this training for everybody. I look back at my first two classes, and I could barely walk into my house after my workout. Now, when I leave class I have so much energy the last thing I want to do is go home and land on the couch. My initial goal of this class was to lose weight, but what I have gained mentally is more than I could have ever dreamed up. Jason-Thanks for all that you do!'

[note] ‘…I used to be a runway model in Cleveland and took great pride in my appearance. I worked out twice a day, monitored my eating habits and as a result I looked pretty darn good. Well add a few years and a few 9 or 10 pound babies and WOW. It did not help matters that I was completely delusional. I honestly believed that I gained 50lbs in less than a year. Looking back I realized it was the little lies I told myself and then began to accept them as truth. I just had a 10lb baby, it's baby fat, I'm tall I can carry 150 no problem, maybe even 160. When the scale “suddenly” jumped to 180, 190 (which I honestly have no recollection) pushing 200 I started having my doctors test my thyroid, test for diabetes, twice, come on WebMD help me out, anything that could explain away this “sudden” weight gain. I stopped looking in mirrors and became horrified at the thought of anyone taking a picture of me…but wait that is not me…that cannot be me.

Then while training for my next half marathon and gup test for Tae Kwon Do the docs said I managed to develop osteoarthritis in my right knee. Everything stopped and came into clear view. I'm sure the extra 50 lbs. pounding on my 40 plus year old knees did not help matters. Not to mention that for some reason I believed I could eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Reality has a way of slapping you in the face like a 20 lb. kettle bell.

I then decided something had to change. I started first with diet because one I believed that was the root of my problems and two I was terrified of my knees failing me completely completely. I took a risk with Improvement Warrior Fitness. Hey it was a free trial and free is always good, right? Funny thing is in two weeks this non-morning person found herself craving these crazy 6AM bootcamps. My internal clock reset itself and now I am up (not quite awake) at 5AM prepping for my workout and not quite sure what to do at that odd hour the other 4 days a week. I have now lost a total of 19lbs, still looking for that 145 lb. high school kid that did not know what she had. No matter what my docs say I think these almost 43 year old knees have at least one marathon in them and a few more halfs. I guess only time will tell and with that my knees and I will continue to push forward.'

Wow.  What a difference 30 days makes.  Today is the last day of the challenge and I can't stop smiling.  I did it.  30 days with no coffee.  30 days of no cheese(!).  30 days without sugar.   I feel like a rockstar.  I lost 18 pounds.  That's 10% of my weight.  During the cleanse I started fitting into pants I hadn't worn in 5 years.  By the end of the cleanse, I don't fit into them anymore…  Because they are too big!!!!!!!!!!   I used to buy some of my clothes at what I called the “big girl” store.  I went there to get some new stuff, just out of habit, and then, as I was going through a rack of stuff, I realized that they don't carry the size I am now.  I practically ran to a store that I used to love but which I had stopped going to because they only sold “normal” sizes.  I tried on so many things and they all fit.  I wasn’t choosing the one thing that fit.  I was choosing from tons of things that fit to pick the few things that looked GREAT.

And, I don’t even miss anything.  I am so thrilled with how I feel and the results that I see in the mirror that I don’t even want to stop the program.  This morning, I went to Improvement Warrior Fitness (bootcamp) and then, for breakfast, I cooked a tomato, spinach, one egg and ½ cup of egg whites. I am still going to have a shake for lunch.   My dinner will be the same as it was when I was on the program.   It feels ridiculous to say this, but  I am starting to believe I was addicted to sugar and other foods that were making me fat, keeping me fat, and preventing me from being happy.

I also can't get over the compliments I am receiving.  People keep coming into my office and asking me to stand up so they can see.  30 days ago I weighed 179.  I now weigh 161, that means I lost 18 pounds (and actually lost another 2.2 since writing this).  That's 10% of my total body weight.  I lost 4 inches in my waist alone.  I lost inches in my hips and around my ribcage (see you later back fat), and an inch around my thigh.

My work isn't done.  I have set a short term goal to get me through the Holidays:  I want to enter 2014 at 155 lbs.  That's only losing 6 pounds in 10 weeks which seems pretty lame after having lost triple that in half the time, but I don't want to set myself up for failure.  I know the holidays are coming and I will have drinks, and good food and may not be able to get outdoors as much.  I will hit 155 and then, come March, I will do the cleanse again.  I turn 40 in July.  My long term goal is to turn 40 weighing 144.  That's only 15 more pounds to go!

My name is Laurie. I have tried Curves in the past along with a couple other fitness centers. I must say The class we took was 3 days a week and in that time we both are more firm. The really tight jeans I wear are now very comfortable. In that short of time I noticed a difference. I want to lose weight but my first goal is to firm up. And I know muscle is weight, but if you look firm and feel great I know the weight loss will come later at least for me.

Tom and I are in our early 50's and needed a jump start. We got it through this program. We feel the best part of his program is that he mixes things up. You don't do the same thing every time you go in. There are different variations to certain exercises. It is fun but it is a work out!!! We definitely would continue on, except we are moving. Everyone should give it a try.

    Thanks Jason.

‘My name is Rachael and I'm from Columbus. I decided to try out Improvement Warrior Group Personal Training because I was unsatisfied with the shape my body was in. I’ve always been pretty active, especially in long-distance running, and have never had weight issues, but after spending a year abroad, I had put on some pounds that I was ready to take off. I had exercised regularly even while I’d gained weight, so I knew I needed to find something that would exercise my body in new ways, complement my long-distance training and provide me with accountability.

I was a little worried that the bootcamps might push me beyond my capabilities, but at the same time I needed something tough that would tone me up. I gave the bootcamps a try. While they were challenging, they were manageable. After a little less than two phases of training, I’ve already noticed changes in my body. I’m beginning to fit back into those dresses and jeans I wore a year ago and can feel myself toning up and strengthening. I’ve especially noticed a more definition in my arms, which I tended to pay less attention to in the past.

My endurance has also increased considerably per workout session, and in general, my energy level and mood have increased. For those thinking of attending Improvement Warrior Fitness, I say give it a try. The first week or two is tough, but the instructors are encouraging and will show you fun and different exercises that suit your body. Because the sessions are only 45 minutes and offered at different times throughout the day, they are easy to fit into a busy schedule. Plus, it doesn’t take long to start reaping the benefits of the workouts. Especially be sure to pay attention to Jason’s fitness and nutrition articles. They provide great advice and encouragement for living a healthy lifestyle – not just engaging in a short-term diet.'

I am glad I made the decision to do the 30-day cleanse challenge.  I feel better and can fit into my clothes better.  Actually, I have to wear a belt for some of my pants. Though I thought I ate fairly healthy before,  I am making better decisions on what I eat and cook from what I have learned through this challenge.  I am purchasing more organic foods, cut out nitrates, sugar, and drinking water.  I was never a big water drinker drinking mostly tea, skim milk, and occassionally diet pop.

My family is learning to eat healthier too.  I participate in a dinner swap with my Mom and two sisters.  The four of us meet every Sunday and swap what each person has cooked for dinner.  The requirement has always been that the food has to be healthy – no white rice, no white potatoes, nothing fried, whole grain breads, and wheat pasta.  We have been doing this dinner swap for at least four years and it works out great to have four meals already prepared for that week.  So during my 30-day cleanse challenge, they had to cook meals with no pasta or rice, and encouraged to buy grass-fed beef, organic vegetables, and use other oils for cooking.

I am having a positive influence on friends and coworkers too.  They are amazed at my willpower to pass up birthday cake, pumpkin doughnuts, and other goodies brought into the office.  Some of them are taking small steps to eat healthier.  Even though I did not follow the cleanse 100% of the time, I did not beat myself up for not following the guidelines.

I lost 12.6 pounds during this 30-day challenge.  I feel great and have more energy.  I have a theme song now – “Age Ain't a Factor” by Jaheim where he says “you're like a fine wine, you get better with time”.  I want to continue eating healthier to lower my cholesterol and body fat percentage so I will continue to use the Isagenix products.  My goal was to be in my fifties and fabulous.  I definitely feel fabulous.

One of the first things you will notice is your endurance go up. Or as we like to call it conditioning. A lot of people refer to it as ‘cardiovascular' or ‘cardio' for short. We actually do no ‘cardio' at all during our workouts. For one it is boring and two it is ineffective. We only have a short amount of time with you and want to give you the optimal stress on your body in that time to change you. And we can't do that with cardio. What we do do, will actually increase your ‘cardio' even more then actual ‘cardio'— How insane is that? But it works and it's proven by science. Our clients results also speak for themesleves 🙂

‘I'm so glad I started the Improvement Warrior Fitness Group Personal Training program over 3 months ago in Hilliard. I've always had a hard time disciplining myself to go to the gym regularly, but I really enjoy coming to class and always look forward to it after a long day!

I, along with most people I'm sure, have a very hectic and always-changing schedule, but Jason and his staff offers everything from early morning to evening classes that I can usually find and attend a class despite schedule conflicts. In the past, my usual excuse to not work out is that “I'm too tired!” by evening, or “I have no time!”.

With IWF however, I find myself much more energized after a workout, which leads me work more productively at night and sleep better too! Also, at only 45 minutes a class, I look forward to it as a welcomed break instead of an obligation. Not only do I feel much healthier and stronger, these classes are a great stress-reliever and I always leave happy! Finally, I want to commend Jason for everything he does. Not only is he a great, motivational instructor, but the newsletters he writes are very informative and he does a very nice job of making things FUN! This includes everything from weekly “bootcamper of the week” and monthly prize drawings — woot!'

‘Hey Jason! I just wanted to send you an e-mail to let you know how everything is going. These past two weeks of bootcamp have been amazing, I absolutely love it! My trainer is such a nice gal and the location downtown Columbus is so convenient. I'm never pressured, I go at my own pace..which is working hard and giving all that I am capable of. When I leave I feel so relieved the rest of the day knowing that I got my butt kicked and a work out at the same time. Haha!

My body feels amazing and there are times when I am sore, but never once have felt the urge to quit. I didn't join because I was out of shape, I joined because I wanted the excitement and fun trying something new. The 45 minutes of intensity goes by so quickly, I'm not too sure where time goes? Well…I suppose when you're having a good time, everything seems to fly by. I can't wait to see what the next two weeks and beyond will bring me!! Thanks for this opportunity. I love it!'

Time does seem to fly by for a lot of people. But when you are constantly out of shape, and then get into a little bit of shape, but then stop for some life reason, then it doesn't seem to go by as fast. At IWF Large Group Training we try and instill lifestyle rather then whims. It's going to be hard. But if you are always out of shape, then it will never be fun and time will never fly by for any workout. Let us show you how to incorporate awesome training with awesome nutrition to build the awesomest body you can dream of.

‘Jason, Just wanted to say your work outs are truly motivating. I have done this since the end of April 2011 and was referred by a family member. I had tried dieting and other things but with working out and intense calorie counting i have lost 18 lbs so far and many inches. I totally forgot to measure inches before starting!! Wish i had though i went from a 10 to an 8. My goal is a 6 and about 130-135 lbs. I have 2 active children and this is perfect. Also being an asthamatic this has helped my need for not using my inhaler all the time. Thanks i am truly inspired and motivated and have referred many people to your site. So glad I was told!!'

For those of you with children who are out of shape, it is even more important for you to get back. If you are the best you can be physically, nutritionally, and health-wise, then you will be happier and everyone around will be as well. The best gift you can give anyone in your family is the gift of health. Don't take it for granted. We only have certain amount of time on this earth. Let's make the rest of our life, the best of our life. Change can happen now. But you have to want it.

I'd recommend boot camps to anyone who is burned out with going to a gym or who wants to try something new and different. You won't be disappointed! Not just to lose weight but to be healthy so that I am around for a long time to be there for my kids & my husband. Thank you, Jason, for motivating me, making me stronger & just making me better.
…I feel great all over. I feel stronger & healthier. I am always looking forward to class because there is so much variety & I never get bored. I love to wake up the next day & have the good sore feeling in my muscles. I then realized that my body is transforming to get lean.'

‘Jason: I wanted to let you know that I've thought long and hard about writing something. I started your boot camp a couple of months ago on a free trial basis at the recommendation of my long time friend. I thought she was crazy for trying it and I thought I was even crazier for listening to her. I was nervous about starting a new program and fearful of not being able to keep up with everyone else, fearful of being ridiculed and fearful of being yelled at. After completion of my first day, I experienced none of these feelings. By the end of the first week I was a believer. I'm over 50 and have been a member at another gym for the past 4 years. During the past 4 years I've done cardio only and have seen little or no results. I had convinced myself that I was doing the right thing for my heart by doing cardio (both of my parents died of heart attacks relatively early in life) when in essence I was not seeing any changes in my body shape not to mention that I did not have one ounce of upper body strength. I now have some definition in my arms that I have never seen before. When I started your boot camp there were exercises that I never believed that I would ever be able to do. I can now not only do them but do them more effectively, efficiently and expeditiously. The weights that I used in the first few weeks are now being increased. I am seeing other results as well as I'm fitting into jeans that have been hanging in my closet for a year. Your approach, technique and demeanor are very effective and your boot camp is proof that not all boot camps are created equally. I am thankful for my friend who pushed me to come with her and even more thankful to be a member at Yun Boot Camps.'

When I joined your camp (or maybe right before), I weighed close to 230 lbs., and now I'm down to 180, and I dropped from a 36 in jean size to a 31! It's also amazing to be able to shop at regular stores and wear mediums and smalls (even with slim fits!). I'm rambling, but the point is, I think what you're doing is amazing, and you should definitely stick with it 🙂

‘Here is my opinion on Prograde products. I absolutely love the taste of the meal replacement and the workout shake. This is the first product that I have tasted and liked, that I didn't have to add extra ingredients to it to make it taste good. I give it a two thumbs up, or a rating of 10.
I have already placed my second order for the Prograde Lean and post workout. I decided to try the smart shipment this time.
I am also trying the efa icon with smart shipment. I am hoping adding this will help my overall health and get me the omega 3's that I need. I also couldn't pass up on the deal that they were offering.

‘Just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the Prograde Workout drink. I ordered my first two cannisters about two weeks into my first bootcamp and noticed a huge difference in my recovery time upon drinking it after each bootcamp. After running out for a couple of weeks, I finally ordered some and couldn't wait until it arrived as I was feeling low on energy from being out of it. As a side note, I am lactose intolerent so I use 1/2 rice milk or almond milk and 1/2 water when I drink it. It tastes so good, I look forward to drinking it after workout. I also use 1 scoop prior to workout which keeps me going through the entire 45 minutes. I am still savoring the prograde cravers I ordered the first time and plan to purchase the women's multi as soon as I use my current one up.'

letters for the knowledge and expertise you bring and for
your honesty. I am 5′ 8″, 215 lbs. and back in February I weighed
245 lbs. It was very hard for me to believe at
first when I read that the traditional cardio routines were
not the way to go if I wanted to maximize my weight loss, but you
backed up what you were saying with factual information and
so I believed.. So since then I have been eating right and working
out consistently (interval training with 30 to 60 secs
maximum rest in between sets) and have been fortunate enough to have
lost 30 lbs so far. My goal weight is 190 lbs and so I
have 25 more lbs to go. So thank you for what you are doing!!'
