This interview was originally posted back in 2012 back when we launched our original Paleo challenge. We are re-launching and will be doing our 4th Annual Paleo challenge starting on 7/25/16.
The audio below is a 25:00 interview done with Matt Jennings of Matt Jennings Bootcamp in the Jersey Shore, New Jersey.
In the interview you will here Matt talk about his experience with the Paleo diet, the health benefits, the performance benefits, how it helps people reach their goals much, much faster, and a whole lot more.
Back when we did launch the 1st Paleo challenge it did start our new nutrition philosophy and we have since refined our eating and nutrition recommendations to include the Ketogenic Diet or Low Carb High Fat approach as well as a nutritional cleanse. However a lot of people have expressed concern via email or in class that they think those approaches are a little too extreme to start with. I do agree for the most part because I don’t know if I could have gone straight into Keto from my extremely high carb and extremely low fat diet ( I feared fat like the plague— but I was covered in multiple layers of body fat when I was eating low fat 🙂
Paleo is the easiest of our challenges to get started with and implement into your life. Which is the key reason we are bringing it back.
It still focuses on the main aspects that we want in a person’s life (adult or child) of eating whole, real foods and focusing more on good fats and cutting the excess carbohydrates out of your life.
